1 lb. package of Jimmy Dean or similar roll pack ground sausage, preferably hot
2 cups of Bisquick
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix everything together with your hands. Knead well to get the sausage and cheese distributed evenly. Scoop out with a spoon to make balls about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter, they don't have to be neat as the mixture will be sticky. You may have better luck scooping if you chill it a bit first. Put balls on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until nicely browned and sausage is cooked.
This is a great appetizer and a popular item to bring to covered dish dinners.
